Latest and Greatest

I just finished my LAST TIME (for a while) in Kidz on Stage! I played Veruca Salt in the musical Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

I currently go to Vista Charter School, and I'm 12 years old.

I participate in Vista Rising Stars, an auditioned show choir. I am having the time of my life, and have met so many wonderful people!

Wow!! Been a while since I've...

posted!

Well, I'm trying to keep up on this (not working out so well).

Here's an update on my life:
I am still in Musical Theater...my most recent musical was Grease (The 50's musical...NOT the Country). That was fun; I was Marty.

I still love to dance (though I'm not very good at it), sing and act.

The book I'm currently reading is The Diary of Anne Frank.

I just lost a tooth yesterday (Yes, they are still popping out)....

I hope that sums it up.

For those of you who check in every once in a while...THANK YOU! You are the best support <33

Ciao for now,,

Rachel.

Maleficent

I am taking a St George Musical Theater class. The musical we are doing is Sleeping Beauty. You've heard of the movie but maybe not the musical. There are lots of fun songs and scenes.

I got the role of the sorceress, Maleficent! That was the part that I was hoping for so now I am really excited! The performances are this week and I'm having lots of fun.

Happy Halloween!

My Halloween was awesome! I wore my snow princess costume to school because my butterfly costume had huge wings and I didn't want them to be ruined. Then later I got into my butterfly costume but the wing straps were too tight and itchy on me. I decided to wear my baseball costume.

Some people who handed out candy said, "Alright baseball! Whoo hoo!" I was proud of my costume;-) because the people who said that gave me two more pieces of candy than my other friends!

Happy Halloween everybody!

The Beach!

About 3 weeks ago, my family (Alexis, Desiree, Scarlett, Paul, Cami, Dad and Mom) and I went to the beach in California! It was very fun and I got to smell the sea air again. I haven't been to the beach for a while, so it was extra special! :D We had lunch there, admired the baby, ate chips, played, built sand castles (or at least we tried), got run over by the waves...that reminds me of what happened to Scarlett.

We were playing in the waves, just Scarlett and I, because we didn't want to take the risk for Desi, and a huge wave came and we were all screaming and trying to run up the slippery, sandy hill and giggling and then I was a little bit ahead of Scarlett. I don't know why but she was slow or something, and she got pulled back from the wave. I was FINALLY away from where the wave could strike me and I said to Scarlett, "Oh my gosh! Whew! At least w.." And then I noticed that she wasn't there. I started panicking and I thought, 'Did she get swept away?! Ohmigosh!! Where did she go??' And then I yelled, "CAMI!!! MOM!!! DAD!!! PAUL!!!" I was still panicking and I didn't know where she went. Cami and Dad and Mom and Paul came rushing down the hill. Dad was carrying Alexis. Desi was on the top of the hill calmly 'building' sand castles. Paul said, "What??? What???" And I said, still panicking, "Scarlett got swept up in the waves!!" We all looked out and saw her. She wasn't that far out but she looked REALLY worried. Dad said,"PLUG YOUR NOSE!!" Scarlett shrugged her shoulders like, 'huh?' Another wave was looming over her and about to come right over when Dad plugged his nose himself. JUST IN TIME Scarlett plugged her nose and the wave washed her in.

She was crying but okay. My heart was beating SO fast that I could hear it even with all the noise! I am so grateful; my Heavenly Father was watching over her, I know it.

Besides that, the beach was fun! If you go to the beach BE CAREFUL!

School Files

My teacher this year is Ms. LeBaron. She is really-super-di-duper nice except when our class is being bad :,>(

Anyhoo, I'm really enjoying the school year so far. It is really fun to be in 5th grade except for all the homework from all the different classes. I've learned a lot about history and our country so 5th grade is a cool advantage for me.

The new school year

A week from Tuesday, school starts again!! I am sort of excited and sort of sad. I am excited because one, I can get out of this stinkin' heat, and two, I can see all my friends and teachers and staff again!! Rejoice! B-) And I am sad because one, I like having no school, and two, I have to go back to homework!! Ughhhh!

Here in Utah, we get to find out who our teacher is in the last week of the previous school year. We get into groups of who is going where and then we go to our new classrooms. We get to meet our new teachers, see who is in our class and learn a few things like new rules and that stuff. My new teacher's name is Ms. LeBaron. She seems like a pretty nice 5th grade teacher. I hope this school year goes well for me and the same goes out to all my friends my age. Good Luck!
